Responsible entity
The organiser of the competition is Brauerei Locher AG, Brauereiplatz 1, 9050 Appenzell, Switzerland (hereinafter “Brauerei Locher AG”).
Scope and participation period
These Terms and Conditions apply to the competition organised by Brauerei Locher AG.
The competition runs from 24 April 2026 to 31 October 2026. Entries received outside this period will not be considered.
Participation
Participation in the competition is free of charge and is not dependent on the purchase of goods or services.
Entries can be submitted via the Dropshop app or through the promotion website. As part of participation, a Dropshop account will be created. Registration for Dropshop can also take place without entering the competition, provided the relevant option to participate is not selected. Subsequent participation via the app remains possible in this case.
For certain prizes or partial draws, there may be a requirement for the Dropshop app to be installed on the device. This will be clearly communicated in the app, on the promotion website or in the respective prize description.
Eligibility
Participation is open to natural persons residing in Switzerland who have reached the age of 18.
Employees of Brauerei Locher AG are excluded from participation.
Only one entry per person is permitted. In particular, multiple entries, false information, technical manipulation, the use of multiple email addresses to circumvent the participation limit and any other improper interference with the competition are prohibited.
Brauerei Locher AG reserves the right to exclude participants from the competition in the event of violations of these Terms and Conditions or if there is reasonable suspicion of abuse.
Prizes
Top prize
1× top prize with a total value of approximately CHF 14,000: a traditional trip to Appenzell for four people, including four nights’ accommodation, breakfast, dinner, a supporting programme and round-trip train travel.
- The top prize can be redeemed year-round and is subject to availability.
- Programme changes are reserved. Depending on the season and booking status, individual programme elements may not be available.
- Planned programme services that cannot be provided due to unavailability will be replaced with vouchers from Appenzellerland Tourismus AI of equivalent value.
- If the winner declines individual programme elements, no claim for replacement, compensation or cash payment exists.
Further prizes
- 2× FLYER e-bikes, each worth CHF 6,000. Winners can choose any available FLYER bike of equivalent value.
- 2× OFYR grills or OFYR products, each worth CHF 1,350.
- 12× Goldvreneli coins. The draw for these prizes will take place in multiple individual rounds. Only individuals who have installed the Dropshop app are eligible to participate in these individual draws.
Additional provisions for specific prizes
If the price of the selected FLYER bike or OFYR product exceeds the prize value, the winner shall pay the difference. If a cheaper model is chosen, there is no entitlement to a cash payment for the difference.
Delivery charges at FLYER specialist dealers will be covered by FLYER AG.
For Goldvreneli coins or other high-value prizes, Brauerei Locher AG may require personal collection with identification or may choose secure/insured shipping.
Redemption period for prizes
All prizes must be redeemed or collected within 12 months from the date of prize notification or from the date communicated by Brauerei Locher AG. After this period, any entitlement to the prize will lapse without replacement. Cash payment or any other form of compensation is excluded.
Winner selection and notification
The winners will be determined at random after the end of the competition, or in the case of partial draws, after the announced draw date. The decision of Brauerei Locher AG is final. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the competition. To the extent permitted by law, legal recourse is excluded.
Winners will be notified, where possible, via the app and by email. If a winner does not respond within seven calendar days of notification, or if the prize cannot be claimed for reasons attributable to the winner, the prize will be forfeited.
Prize fulfilment
Prize fulfilment will be carried out either directly by Brauerei Locher AG or via the relevant prize partner or service provider, depending on the type of prize. To the extent necessary for prize fulfilment, the required personal data of the winner may be shared with the relevant prize partner or service provider.
Cash payments, substitute prizes and additional costs
Cash payments of prizes are excluded. Brauerei Locher AG reserves the right to replace a prize, or individual components of a prize, with an equivalent substitute prize or substitute benefit if the intended prize is not available.
Unless otherwise stated in the prize description, any additional personal expenses incurred by the winner shall be borne by the winner.
Data protection
In connection with this competition, Brauerei Locher AG processes the personal data necessary for running and administering the competition. Otherwise, the Privacy Policy of Brauerei Locher AG and the Dropshop app applies.
